Explanations to the symbol/idea of the design

The Map of Yunnan is surrounded by seven-coloured ribbons, which symbolizes that Yunnan has a sound ecological environment and diverse ethnic cultures; the fading colour ribbons around the map of Yunnan looks like a blooming flowers, which stands for the new image of Yunnan, a civilized and open, a democratic, harmonious and well-off society; the map of Yunnan surrounded by seven-coloured ribbons looks as a jadeite, which stands for the spirit of our times that is to build a green homestead, to foster green culture and to develop a green economy; and on the other hand, the outline of the map is in orange, which depicts the warning of better environmental protection and highlights the theme of the Initiative to Protect Coulourful Yunnan.
